Pet Tip
Unruly dogs “My dog is crazy” – Calm your dog down – Pet tip 213
Dogs can get really rambunctious or unruly when they are at home and this is especially true of puppies and breeds with high exercise requirements. The second they see you or someone else that they want to play with, they may want to interact with you by jumping on you or running back and forth all over the house. It sure is cute when they are little baby-puppies and it sure gets annoying as they get older and the novelty wears off. Rambunctious dog behaviour can lead to broken lamps or dishes, uncontrollable running, loads of barking, jumping on you or the kids and general chaos that you will want to control.

My name is Duke. I am about ten years old. My mom found me in traffic about 5 years ago, and thankfully she kept me. I was a chunky monkey, and out of shape but people often think I am still a puppy now because I am so slim and trim. I share a kennel in the backyard with my brother Perry. My mommy and daddy try to keep me in, but I cry to go out. It is too warm in our house. I can see them from here though. It is heated and very comfy. Our dad takes us out for a run and a walk every single day. That must be why I have retained my youthful figure. I am a bit cranky, and I ignore my dad when he yells my name, even though I am just behind the hedge, he he he. I eat all the bread that the next door neighbor leaves for the birds, I can't help it. I love my treats and to run for balls and frisbees. I like to climb ladders, and will climb a playground slide and go down it. I love it. I also love to run on a leash beside my dad on the bike. I am a sooky baby for my mom, and I like it when she whispers to me that she loves me. I am a happy dog.
