Phalen joined the family when he was only 5 weeks old. He was very sick and had to have constant care for the first 2 weeks. He had fleas, worms, and his fur was extrememly matted. Since then he has grown into a healthy, happy boy. His favourite time is in the morning when he can chew the bottom of pant legs and wrestle with Mira and Brandi. We have to be careful when we walk, or before we sit down because he is so dark we can't see him at times. His eyes are so black, that we have to look closely to see if he is awake or sleeping. His favourite toy is his green lady bug squeaky toy, and he sleeps with it. He is still too small to sleep in the big bed but loves his kennel. He likes to go out into public where everyone makes a fuss over him but he acts as though he is shy and whines to be carried and hides his head. He licks your face but likes to add a little bite in there when he can. He loves to lie on his back on someone's lap to have his ears rubbed because that makes him fall asleep.
