Our darling Max. I hope you know how much you were loved and hope that you were happy. We are grieving so much with your loss. You were a very special dog -- so special that Daniel will never ever have a wiry weiner again. No other one could ever live up to you. You were his best friend, our beloved dog, the best companion ever and a constant source of delight and joy. Your love was endless. I wish we could have had you for a few more years anyway. You went far too soon. And it's not surprising that it was your heart that gave up. You really were all heart. You were the best!!!! We will love you forever and miss you terribly. We pray that you are somewhere where you can run free with your ears flapping in the air and squirrels to chase and a lap to live on. Until we meet again, sweet Max.
