Shadow was my first pet, and I have been looking for almost 10 years for some way to pay tribute to him. He was crazy as a kitten, dragging his sisters around the house by their heads, but calmed down as he got older. He slept by my head every night, and I was his person. He died too soon, from a UTI. The medication didn't help, and my parents couldn't afford the surgery, so they put him down [as he was in a lot of pain all the time]. I still miss him, and wish that I could scratch his ears just once more.
