My dog was the most special dog that I ever knew. When she first came, she followed me everywhere until she was no longer there. She had arthritis and had a hard time getting up the stairs. She would lick her paws and legs until they bled. It hurt to see her like this and my mom decided that it was time for her to be put to sleep. I always loved my dog, and always will. She listened to us, she was adorable, she was everything I wanted her to be. She died at the age of eight. She was a medium sized dog. She was very nice. She used to go every where I went. She was the one to comfort me when I was sad, when I was mad, when I had a fight with my best friend. She came to me and made me laugh. She was the most perfect dog on earth and space for me. My parents say that we can't have another dog so I will never have another dog like Dixie to make me smile when I'm crying. I was six when I got her. She died when I was 14. It hurts to know she won't be there with me when I'm scared, or alone, and it will always hurt. She will always be in my heart, and in the heart's of which she has lightened up. So this goes out to my dog, Dixie, who we will never forget.
