Dogs and Cats that Drink Too Much Water – Pet tip 240
Water is the elixir of life and it is essential to all living things. Our pets need to have access to water at all times and their water bowls should be filled with fresh water every single day. When our pets don’t get enough water dehydration can occur. Sometimes though, our pets drink too much water and although we know that water is good for our pets, too much is too much. Serious health problems can occur when our pets drink too much water. Sometimes the reason they drink so much stems from psychological or behavioural problems; other times the reason is medical. Either way, drinking too much water is dangerous for pets.
When a pet drinks too much water, its urinary system is also affected. What goes in must come out so thirst and urination are naturally linked.

Tribute to our beloved Hammy 1 Oct 2005 to 22 May 2006
Dear Hammy
You will always be remembered in our hearts. Remember you the small little one that first came into our family. Always remembered you as baby , hammy and the cutie.
When you first came, you feel afraid. I try to spend time with you thou not too much but soon you get to know me better. Remember the times you always like to escape into the washing machine, walk around my study desk. Granny fed you with morning breakfast and I feed you with bananas, veggies, papaya and your favourite cheezy snacks during the night. You never fail to grab from my fingers.
And your long hair, i always trim for you thou i know you dislikes me cutting you. But you hv to get some maintainance.
Since you join, you never realise you have a mummy, hamster grandpa and hamster dardy. Dardy was the one that approved and gave you this name "hammy".
I shower you with all the new toys and best hamster mix in town. Hoping for the best nurtrition you can get. You grew from a small little one to a big little one.
Was intending to get you a new cage soon. Didnt know you tried to leave the house without my notice and when some other path..... Where are you now..? I miss you... very much...Emptiness in the house.....Lonliness was the soul.
Lord will bless you in your new home and find a new life. Gimme a chance to adopt you again. I shall await.

11.16pm, 22 may 2006 (Monday)
Incident: Hammy left the house and went into the kitchen pipe on 22 May 2006 , early morning between 1am - 6am and was drown into the kitchen hole pipe. Was only found in the late evening, 8.45pm. Body rested peacefully at Bishan st. 24, Behind blk 267 and 268, near the patch of grasses infront of the multi -storey carpark.
