Dogs in Mourning – Pet tip 246
Dogs are extremely sensitive animals and can feel many of the same emotions that humans feel. Although many seasoned dog owners already know this, newer dog owners are often surprised by the depth of some of the emotions that dogs can feel. We all know that dogs can be very happy creatures; their broad wagging tails give them away every time. But dogs are capable of feeling more complex emotions than just happiness. At the other end of the spectrum there is sadness and depression and dogs are capable of feeling these emotions. Perhaps there is no greater testament to this fact then when a dog’s owner or another dog from the household dies

We adopted a sweet little canary, one year of age and at first we were told he was a male but after two years he started laying eggs and we realised that he was a she and we renamed her Mully. She was beautiful with yellow and brown feathers and she sang and chirped to us all the time and it was the sweetest sound to liven up our home. She was so small but had such a spunky personality fluttering around in her cage and eating bird treats. She loved baths and if we didn't bathe her when she wanted, she would hop into her little water dish and just bathe herself. We talked to her daily and she was a special addition to our family. We will miss you sweet little Mully bird and will forever carry you in our memories and in our hearts.
With all of our love,
daddy, mommy, savanna, tristan, nicki and janie girl. xxoo
