"In Memory of Our Sweet Boy Cat, John Deere"
Hi there ! My name is John Deere.
What a sweet little guy I was. I thought I was a dog. The whole neighborhood loved me! You could say to me, "Come on John Deere. It's time to go", and I would jump right in the van with my suitcase packed on my way to Michigan! I thought I was as big as a mountian lion, too. That was my problem! I tackled something this time that I just couldn't handle, (a huge possum !) Anyway, the possum was bigger than me and he won. I hear it wasn't a pretty sight. I was really torn up, they say. I didn't know possums could be so mean! I just wanted to play.
Anyway, I'm still out chasing all kinds of little angels and toys. I'm having a real ball. So cheer up Mom and Dad. Don't be sad! It is beautiful here and I don't hurt anymore!
John Deere,
We sure hope and pray that you didn't feel any pain. I know we do! We will miss your cute meows and begging for your favorite food by opening up the cabinet door where we still keep your friskies. Your constant purring, companionship, and continuous love will always be a part of us! We know that you are here in spirit, but it is still so sad. What a special little kitty cat ! You are missed !
Thank you John Deere for the time we did have together.
Until we meet again, little guy !
We will love you forever !
Susan and Mark
