Hi my name is Ike. I live in the country with my family of 4 and my 8 cat friends. I don't have any trouble living with the cats because I am just their size, and they like it when I chew on their ears. We get along pretty good, except once in a while I have to chase one or two of them, just so they remember who's boss. I also have 4 dog friends that are my neighbors. I either visit them or they come over to my house to visit. I have a new cousin just my size, his name is Dewee and I have two boxer cousins named Jake and Nicky.
I am a friendly dog, most of the time, but when strangers come to the door, I try to pretend I am a big dog. I jump and run all over the house when company comes to visit. I always bring my toys to them and try to get them to play.
I like to play outside, in the summer I am outside most of the day while my Mom is gardening. I like to be with my family. I miss them a lot whenever they are away. I like to play fetch with them whenever I can get them to play. My favorite toy's are my ball and my rubber bone. I like to do tricks, but will only do them for a treat. I learned all my tricks in less than an hour- those treats are a real incentive. I know how to sit, stay, speak,lay, roll over, play dead, jump, shake, spin-a-rooni (I turn in a circle-my owners named it that),beg, up (stand up on two legs), high five & when my owners switch my treat from hand to hand I can pick which hand the treat is in.
I like to sleep whenever I get a chance. I can sleep just about anywhere, but my favorite place is under a chair in the living room. At night I get to sleep with my Mom & Dad. I like to snuggle with my family and will give puppy hugs if I'm asked.
I like to have all the puppy treats I can get. My Dad is a real sucker for giving them out too. I have him trained to get me one every morning and if I look real cute, he will give me one just about every time. I like when I get to go to the pet store and pick out my own treats.
I like to go for rides, especially when we go to the ice cream place. I love ice cream, but I can't eat too much or I start shivering like crazy.
I am just an all around happy dog :o)
