I think these dogs were friends and it's a case of one friend helping another. Either way, what a testament to courage and bravery. BusterBoo - I agree with your comment 100%

Thats amazing that the dog didn't even use his teeth and I agree Growler that its sad no one stopped to help in the first place. Its not a dogs duty to pull another to safety after we humans hit it.
