Gr. Vancouver Zoo Demonstration!!!

Hi Animal Lovers,

I am hoping you will be able to join me for another demonstation at the Greater Vancouver Zoo on Sat Dec 4 from noon to 2:30pm. This time the purpose is to protest the terrible conditions under which the majority of the animals there are forced to live in. These conditions include:
- small, barren, enclosures for the lions, tigers and giraffes
- unheated enclosures for the hippos
- muddy, waterlogged enclosures during rainy conditions
- black bears and wolves housed together, creating stress for both species
- bird cages so small that flight is not possible
- reptile cages so small little movement is possible

I am hoping to bring enough public pressure onto the zoo that they will be forced to either make the changes recommended in a report from ZooCheck Canada or close. Could you please pass the word to as many animal lovers and activists that you know.

Ashley from Peta may or may not be attending....but from what I understand, members from VHS, etc will be there.....along with the many caring people who helped send Tina to the Sanctuary where she lived out her remaining days in peace . Any ans all animal lovers are encouraged to come and help out for the animals! :love:
