Anyone know what other breeds might be mixed in?

I've been reading this forum for a while, but only adopted my lil' bundle of joy last Friday..

Meet Ruckus. An AMPT/Boxer mix, and we believe there's some more in there. He's got a pointer stance when something catches his attention (with his build, he looks goofy as hell. I love it), and he's got the temperament of my old Golden Retriever.

Right now he's ~6 months old, and about 45lbs. Spends half the time being a typical frisky puppy goofball (hence "ruckus"), the other half being the laziest dog I've ever met (maybe I should've called him "Carpet"). I realize his true adult temperament isn't going to come through for a while yet, but as long as I keep raising him this way he'll hopefully stay a suck

So yeah, the pictures aren't that great, but you should be able to get an idea. Just wondering if something jumps out in terms of what else could be mixed in with him. Not that it matters, he's perfect the way he is

Plus, I kinda wanted to show him off

Thanks!

He's been a big hit in the neighbourhood. It's too bad I have to muzzle him, i think just the fact he's muzzled scares people. God I hate BSL.

The reactions are really varied when my sister and I walk our dogs together (she's got a Dobbie - uncropped tail, and uncropped ears, but still a huge goofy looking sucker) - you can really tell who knows their dogs and who doesn't.

I'll post better pics when I visit my parents on the weekend (and have access to their digicam), and get pics of all three dogs together (my parents have a collie/sheppard/something mix). Yup, we're dog people More specifically, adopted-dog people - they're so grateful!

As for cuddles and kisses, he gets tons No worries there. But I just gave him another one just for you! lol

he's very cute, but I don't see the boxer in him. Lots of shelters put 'boxer' when they see brindle but that can come from many other breeds too. His markings are lovely. I see a lot of APBT...

As requested, here's some much clearer shots of Ruckus taken with a proper digicam... maybe it'll be easier for those of you more in the know to see what else other than pittie might be in the little cutie.

Ruckus and Kalya (my parent's kick ass Sheppard/Collie rescue), Ruckus discovering stairs, Ruckus looking interested, and Ruckus just happy to see me after I left for 10 mins.

i see pure pit, to be honest. and a GORGEOUS one at that! i don't see any boxer at all (head, eyes, ears, frame, stance) and no mastiff cuz at 6 months old and 45 lbs, that is pit size. i actually met a couple of pure pits that were a spitting image of ruckus, but one was quite large (80 lbs adult male). there is so much variation within the "breed", rarely do two individuals look alike actually....
