Rottweilers

Are rottweilers and moderately small aparetments a bad combination?

Also, does anyone know if there are rottie breeders or rescues around the montreal area, in quebec or ontario?

I guess it would depend on the individual dog (eg. if he/she is a barker and if you're willing to work on it....and if the neighbors are patient). You would have to ask yourself questions like do you have permission from the landlord...would the neighbors mind...how much exercise can you give...are you fairly active...do you mind the cold, rain, snow because you'll have to be going out with him/her each and every time...etc., etc..

There are many rescues and shelters in the Montreal area. Just look on http://www.petfinder.com/ and enter your postal code.

Hey there, if you can, please pm me the info you are directly looking for.
I am a rottweiler lover, owner, trainer, and everything.
I know many people in the rottweiler breed here in Ontario.
As for rottweilers in apt, I have one large active male in an apt, but I keep his mind busy, and he has a flexi to run on the grass.
Rottweilers are working a working breed, and do need things to do.
They are also not for the faint of heart, not everyone should own one.
If you have really done your homework about the breed, feel free to contact me, I can point you in the right direction
