Post dog pregnancy question

my female dog was on heat until yesterday night. i took her to the stud and there was a sucessful tie for about 15 minutes. i went home and brought her back that same day for a second try but no tie was taken place the stud would smell her bud and walk away and the female would lay down and wouldn't let him mount her. i would like to know if with one tie would be enought for her to be pregnant please respond.

Thank You,
Sapphire927

Please see a vet or your mentor breeder. As stated in the rules:

Most people on this forum are against declawing cats, and are against banning specific dog breeds. Most people on this forum are VERY pro spay/neuter, and are against backyard breeding. Most people on this board will beg, borrow and max out their credit cards to see a veterinarian when their pets are ill.

You can read the rules here:

One tie won't be enough UNLESS of course you have shown or worked your dog to some kind of title, have researched lines and pedigrees of both the stud and dam, the breed standard and how the stud complements your bitch, and of course obtained health clearances for whatever genetic disorders/diseases common in your breed. You do all that, and you're guaranteed a litter. Unless Mother Nature disagrees - in which case you are better off to spay your girl and enjoy her as a pet.
