Curly tail on a lab?

I know that I have read that a tail that curls over the back is considered a fault for labs, according to the breed standard, but do they mean to THIS degree? Or does Bronwyn just have an exceptionally curly tail?

I love her curly tail-it's very cute. She usually carries it curled up over her back like this. I know that it reminds me of another breed, but I can't think of which one. Any ideas?

Her father, as far as we know, is a rottie, but I wonder if another male got into the kennel that night, too.

Yep, Bronny keeps her tail tightly curled up and out of the way. Very hygenic of her....
Must be a lab thing then.

My dog's tail does the same thing! It annoys me because I think he looks ridiculous but what am I going to do about?

It's against Dodger's breed standard as well so that doesn't help any!

I realized that I was thinking Husky-type dogs-malamute, samoyed ect, about her tail. She loves to perch on the back of the couch, too, and jump...she's kinda pushy. I wonder if there was a male husky around when she was conceived.

Jemma's tail curls too, but she's most likely mixed with husky...
