rescue and neutralize
Hi,
If I rescue a cat with the babies , I would like to neutralize them before given them to adoption, does veterinary are affiliated with rescue group ? because I don't want to pay the operation for all the kittens ... but I want to give the adoption fees to the rescue/veterinary . Could someone inform me how it work ? can I rescue animals and after ask for help to a shelter/rescue group ? because sometime it's an emergency and in the laurentides there is no rescue group thanks for the information ![]() |

You could contact some Montreal rescue groups and ask if you could foster for them first, then they would pay to spay and neuter prior to adoption.

If you are fostering a cat or a cat with kittens for a rescue, THEY will pay for the spaying and neutering and any medical care they need.
If you take a cat and kittens from outside, then you will have to pay, but can get the money back with an adoption fee. You can talk to your vet. Tell him that you rescued these cats and want to know if he can help you out. IF you get the cats from the SPCA to foster them, then they should also pay for it. |
