Dog chiropractor
My dog woke-up one morning limping, in pain and would not raise his head. I finally took her to the vet for and examination. The vet said it was disc problem and prescribed an anti-inflamatory. Is there such a thing as a dog chiropractor.? I forgot to ask my vet.

Yup. Do you have a homeopathic/ naturopathic Vet anywhere nearby? They may have someone on staff who is trained or can refer you elsewhere.

My chiropractor that i used to have did animals also. So i would check out all chiropractors in your area to see if they do animals too.

I've been looking into hydrotherapy for my golden who suffers with arthritis. This place was recommended by my food store supplier "Animotion" in St Lambert http://www2.canoe.com/infos/societe/...17-102000.html Has anyone used their services? Oscarpro sorry to hear your dog is having disc problems. If you could find a holistic approach combined with the anti inflammatory hopefully that could relieve some of the pain ![]()

Smudge goes to the chiropractor about once a month. He managed to jam a vertebrae and the vet kept denying he had an issue and blamed it on his conformation. Smudge's chiropractor is fantastic and I've seen a lot of improvement in him in the last year. Cider pinched a nerve in the middle of last year, and in three visits she was good as new too.

If you (or anybody else) are wondering whether this works well enough to justify the expense, Ceili gives it two thumbs up. We went/go to a hydrotherapy pool (not the underwater treadmill) to help her heal after both her cruciate surgeries and to help ease the pain, maintain muscle tone in her hinds as she has dysplasia in both hips.
