I'm getting my puppy!!!!!!!!

Hi there My mom just got off the phone with a Reputable breeder in st.johns (she was only on the phone for 3 hours) Well, they have a 12 week old yorkie puppy that we will be getting early august, and the breeder said it was meant to be, because she just decided earlier this morning that she was going to give her up (She was going to keep her for breeding). But anyway, her shots are up to date and shes microchipped ,dewormed, CKC registered. We are getting her on a spay contract. Shes $1300 And is a little doll. IM SOOOOO HAPPY!!!!! Thanks to Aslan for giving me that link to the breeder website!!!!

I'm so happy for you! I know you have been waiting for this puppy. Be prepared to take lots of pictures and post them for us, you know we will be hounding (no pun intended ) you for them! There is nothing more exciting than anticipating a new puppy in the family. Congratulations!

I know you were interested by feeding raw , I have to tell you , it's a lot of work and you need to be very informed about all of this. And it is expensive (although it wouldn't be for a tiny Yorkshire )

I know, That is the downside on feeding raw... In one of the petshops in St.johns, there is a man in the who i've heard is a nutrition expert, and i will ask him what foods i should stay away from and the ones i should try to feed. But, Im still looking for opinions on this site, cause i dont know if hes just in it for the money or not..lol..

Im also shaking uncontrolably, should i be worried? I feel kind of sick

WOOHOO! congrats on the new puppy!

should you be worried! heck no! puppies are such great fun! i am so excited for you. you seem to have done alot of work in finding a puppy and your learning as much as you can. and of course we are all always here to help..just ask! if everyone took as much time to prepare for a puppy as you did, the puppy world would be alot better off!

cant wait to see pictures!

Thank you , even though ive done so much to prepare, i still feel as if i am clueless, im just so worried that i'll do something wrong , because if i screw up with a Chiapet, it isnt a big deal. But if its a real life, its a REALLY BIG deal (know what i mean?)

Rotfl, calm down young jedi, the pets.ca force is with you. You're gonna be just fine, trust me. Put him on a good diet, love him/her, make sure she knows what you want and all will be well. Isn't gonna happen overnight, just be patient.

That's excellent news. Puppy pics soon I hope.
12 weeks is a great age too, hopefully the breeder will have her started with house training.

A sun dress! That is SO worth photographing! As for names, I love Sophie because it is such a refined name for a lady, and rolls easily off the tongue when you're yelling: "SOOOOPHIEEE!!!!Why did you eat my Sandal?!?!"

It is worth photographing! But i think it will be way to big for her just yet! lol... I dont care if she eats my sandal, as long as she doesnt swollow anything or get hurt doing it:sad: .. My Aunt suggested Chloe because She has to sons, and she was pregnant with a daughter but gave birth to a still born. and she was going to call her Chloe. So i want to name her that for my aunts sake, even though i prefer Sophie:sad:

Congratulations babymomma .....you will make a great doggie mom cuz you've done so much research ahead of time. I also much prefer the name Sophie and it's also not as common as Chloe is.
