Problems viewing new posts

I am having problems with seeing new posts from today. some may say there has been 8 posts to a message yet only 3 or so displays, other messages the responses show less than what was posted to it only because I know I had posted to the message this morning but those including mine are not showing.

I have logged out and re logged in hoping clearing the cookies would help but still don't see the new posts.

an example the post http://www.pets.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=31124

shows there has been 8 replies I can only view 3

I seen them all too but I have noticed lately that the forum is alot slower than it used to be. Pages keep hanging and lots of time I get "page cannot be displayed". Anybody know why this happens?

Still screwy, this forum shows the most current reply is to the freepay ads.

I did a restart on my computer this morning

THe crazy jump post I still only see the first 3 replies though I replied to it yesterday morning but that I can't view all the replies to the cocker with erhlichia even the recent 2 I had made one being a delete because I thought my post did not go thru it was only after I made the reply did I see my post, when I went back to that post later I can that I only can view 1 reply after the posted pictures of the cocker

another post in the main part of the forum says their are 3 replies I see 4 .

On this page I see a reply from Prin and Rainbow, saying they are having no problems, If there is more replies for example one from an administrator I do not see it, the reply count shows as 2.

So far I have tried refresh to see replies, logged out and back in again and restarting my computer, I am using IE 6 as my browser, recently updated it so not sure if that is where the problem lies, I have no idea what else to try
No idea what is going on don't seem to notice the same problem at other forums

lol no, there's no other replies yet.

Are you sure you don't just have a ton of people on ignore? I guess not, if you can read my posts.

Seriously, though, there's a thread about this from a long time ago. It happened to somebody else...

Looks like I resolved, went to the top of the browser clicked on Tools -> internet options -> and deleted temporary internet files and cookies. clicked ok, and then re logined here.

LOL I have yet to use the ignore function in any forum, I accept in this world not everyone is going to agree, and to me that is healthy as it allows for debate on subjects, which in the end becomes a learning aid if one is willing to look at different sides and do their own research on differing aspects, and if a person is being rude or nasty or simply taking things to far because they are too passionate or getting hot under the collar then mods will handle it . And even if I should have a personality clash with someone, it does not mean their input on forums are unworthy of being read, I may one day actually learn something new from them, and I am all for learning if it means being able to take better care of my own animals

If you download "IE Privacy Keeper" (it's free and no spywre) it will automatically delete your temporary files and cookies.
