Montreal Spca Small Dogs

I went to the Montreal SPCA today, they had couple of small dogs available for adoption. A three year old female Poodle, a Lasho Apso, three black lab mix pups and a small Schnauzer.

Some very beautiful adult black labs, if I didn't have three dogs already, I would have taken this beautiful husky mix, soft moka color fur, big brown eyes. Male named Scooby.

Do you know if there is a way for someone not from the Montreal area to adopt from this location?

Sure, I know many people not from montreal who adopted from there, to be honest I think they adopt to anyone that seems to be a good person, and home

Ya, the Montreal SPCA is like a store. You go in, pick the one you want and walk out, never to be seen from again... (personal experience-- I even went back to thank them and they didn't care)

Yes, they'll give a dog to anyone with money in their pockets.

Just be aware that they do not spay or neuter, but you get a voucher for it and the cost in included in the adoption fee.

However you MUST bring the dog back to them for the surgery if you want it to be paid for (they don't care if you do or not) or pay for it yourself if you want to do it in your own location.

Yes, certainly don't count on the neuter costs being included in the SPCA Montreal's adoption fees. There are strings attached. Count on paying your own vet to do it (which is also safer).
