Doggles

Anyone ever tried these? I was thinking of getting Odin a pair to keep his eyes from drying out in the hot weather, also to protect them after he has his next cherry eye surgery.

I was going to buy a pair for Copper! Just because he likes to hang his head out of the window sometimes! I'm just worried he'll never wear them!

That's hilarious! He looks like a WWII flying ace!

It's a super idea and could protect the eye very well.

He's pretty cool!!! I am going to get our Dobe a pair as she LOVES to hang her head out the window and this way her eyes are protected!!! She's buckled in the back seat but I would like to let her stick her nose out but I am totally paranoid about a rock or something flying at her! I think they are a great invention!!!! They are really well made and the dogs don't seem to be bothered by them. My friend has a pair for her pooch that has sun sensitivity and he thinks they are great! He also knows when they are on, he's headed out to the beach!!!

Those are so cute, and they sound like a wonderful idea. I never thought of it but I mean we wear glass why would they not. Thanks Raingirl I might just order a pair for Meater and Chino (hopefully they will wear them)

You should also consider potential ear problems if you are letting your dog stick its head out of the car windows. If you are driving relatively quickly (>50km/h) you are putting them at risk of earaches, and what’s more if they have floppy ears, heamotomas (broken blood vessels that break and clot inside the ear and need to be surgically removed).

Just something to think about...

Mocha puts her ears flat on her head and we only do it going to the doggy park, not exceeding 50K! We don't allow it on the highway etc...

You can see Goggles on website - www.k9sports.ca. There is a bunch of agility equipment as well.
