ridgebackluv October 25th, 2004, 07:06 PM I am looking for an active puppy. I am a part time student, so I'm only out of the house for a total of 1-2 hours a day. I am an avid runner, so I'm looking for a dog that, once developed, could run with me. I was thinking of anything from a Brittany, to a pit bull to a ridgeback (I would ADORE a ridgeback, but they can be hard to find) I grew up with large, active dogs, and went through full training with one of them, so I know what I'm getting myself into.

Joelle October 27th, 2004, 02:36 PM I just started volunteering at Animatch a couple of weeks ago and here's what I can tell you about Chelsey (although if you want to know the real scoop, you should email: info@animatch.ca or call : (450) 452-0321)
Chelsey is a super sweet, intelligent and active dog. She does still need re-inforcement in the way of house training. She likes to play with other dogs and since she's 5 mths old she still has some growing to do.
I can tell you that we have other dogs that are not listed on the Animatch site and we have a waiting list if you have a specific breed in mind!
