luckypenny August 10th, 2010, 09:01 PM Little Bagheera, another James Bay pup, is a 10 week old, 9lb, male Labrador X. He's already crate trained and quickly learning to be clean in the house. He has been extremely well-socialized and handled and loves all people, including children. His foster fur-siblings enjoy his company as he's well-behaved and respectful. Bagheera's tail seldom stops wagging, he's such a happy, curious little fellow. He's looking for a loving forever home where he won't be left alone for more than a few hours at a time so he can get frequent potty/play/socialization breaks at this young age.

fosterpat August 11th, 2010, 09:38 AM Thank you luckypenny for posting Bagheera here for me....i'm a novice when it comes to computers!
Hopefully Bagh. will find his forever home soon.....not easy here in Quebec. He's already been with me 3 weeks.
Black pups and especially mixes always take longer to be adopted...don't know why? He's a great pup and a real sweetheart!
Thanks again.
Frenchy August 11th, 2010, 09:46 AM fosterpat , it's the stupid "black dog syndrome" :(

hazelrunpack August 11th, 2010, 10:20 AM I never did understand that phenomenon  Look at that face!!!! What's not to love, regardless of color. :(
I hope the perfect family comes along for him soon, fosterpat!!! :goodvibes:
fosterpat August 11th, 2010, 07:55 PM Thanks Frenchy for the link. I knew about the black dog syndrome. But some of the info. in this clip, I had never heard of. For sure my blond fosters always get adopted first and some don't even stay with me more than a couple of days (depending on their age).
Black dogs certainly are difficult to get a good pictures of. But I didn't know that even film and TV portray them as the bad and tought dogs.... What's that all about???
All that I know is that my black fosters as much as my blond or mixed color fosters are great dogs...and they all deserve a chance at a wonderfull home.
Hopefully Bagh. will find his sooner than later.
