;) Someone told me that if you have a shepherd and if they stand with a straight back, they will have hip problems, but if their rear end is lower that the front shoulders, they have good hips. Is this correct? :confused:

No, this isn't correct. The only way to determine if your dog's hips are poor, fair, good, or excellent is to have him x-rayed - with the OFA or PennHip testing done.
