New GDS question

Someone told me that if you have a shepherd and if they stand with a straight back, they will have hip problems, but if their rear end is lower that the front shoulders, they have good hips. Is this correct?

No, this isn't correct. The only way to determine if your dog's hips are poor, fair, good, or excellent is to have him x-rayed - with the OFA or PennHip testing done.
