I am going to check in the morning with a coworker and will let you know. No promises but will sure try!

Do you know what the skin issues were?

I just went back and re read... does the kennelling thing mean he needs to be homed with other dogs?

Do the transports come across the border into certain provinces only or any?

The transports for me come to Cornwall.. but others I see go all over the place..

http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/CBDR/

Description
This group helps rescues on both sides of the border move dogs freely from shelters, humane societies, animal controls and rescue groups to forever home, foster homes and other rescues. Notices are posted about dogs in need, urgent situations and plea's for help. Transport help and home visits can also be requested on list. As with all groups, respect and courtesy of others is expected.

If you have any questions on this group, feel free to write to CBDR-owner@yahoogroups.com for details.

folliculitis is a reaction to allergens, bacteria, fungus or parasites that affects the skin around hair follicles. It can develop on any part of the body but is most likely to occur on the face and head.

Treatment
# A diagnosis to determine the underlying factors is necessary to effectively treat folliculitis without causing further irritation. Antibacterial shampoo, anti-fungal creams, antibiotic ointment and prescription medications are used to treat this condition.

If I lived somewhere where I could house more then two dogs then I would take all of them home.

That one dog that they said was AWESOME is so cute, and looks like a large lap dog.

I really never knew that there were these sorts of lists. I honestly stared at it for over an hour looking at all the animals.

I get at least 10 daily of similar lists with all kinds of breeds.. I'm glad to help the CBDR ..

Hi HelenNutmeg I am so sorry I couldnt find any help here for this poor soul! I did speak with my coworker and he honestly felt that Carter is in pretty rough shape. Although he was wanting to help it really isnt a good time for him to take Carter. I am sooo sorry I hope something else works out for this poor soul!

:pray::pray::pray: that all of them find a good home for the holidays....it just breaks my heart to see those beautiful faces and know that no one wants them especially when so many of us that can't would jump at the chance had we the room! :goodvibes: their :angel2:s are just around the corner with the perfect home for them. Can someone not foster them or do they have to be adopted?

HelenNutmeg
December 13th, 2009, 10:12 PM
Yes they could be fostered.. and they try to get fosters or even sponsors but you know how the economy is down there..

[QUOTE=HelenNutmeg;861405]Yes I know the video is tough to watch but so many people need reality checks..

I agree 100% and not watching the videos is not saving or helping those poor animals. Sometimes I just need to be in a better frame of mind to see them .

I wish that some people would not support these BYB and puppymills, but so many have the attitude that I'll rescue that poor pup in the petstore, not thinking they are actually supporting the actions of the heartless people who are running these puppymills. They just don't get it.
