In the Quebec / Ontario area. Lucky is now 11 months old. He already had 2 families , through no fault of his , he is now looking for his third but forever home. He did have obedience classes with his first family but would need someone who knows the cocker breed. He needs to be reminded about the training once in a while :D he still acts like a puppy , will play bite , without hurting but he's learning that even if he is small , this is not an ok behavior.
We are looking for an active family but without small kids. He is up to date with vaccines and just was neutered 2 days ago.
You can fill out an adoption application here : http://www.rosieanimaladoption.ca/dogs-for-adoption/lucky-is-awaiting-his-forever-home/
(never mind the age posted on his profile , it will be corrected soon)

Frenchy, how's his retrieval instinct? Guy wanted to train Bailey for retrieving but once we figured out his age and health issues it was a definate no go, he would have been an amazing bird dog but was just so old. He had drive that would have put many of labs to shame I tell ya.
He tried training Meiko but he's so gun shy its not even funny, so again... no go.
He wants a bird partner so badly, not so much ducks but bush chickens and he keeps getting dangerously close to getting a Lab since most cocker breeders focus on show as apposed to field.

Right now I would say he's not too .... focused
If I throw a ball , both him and Sienna will run to get it and then ... will run past the ball and move on to something else :D I'm the one who actually retrieves it and no , I am not up for adoption

Aw c'mon Frenchy, my man would love to have you as a retriever I'm sure lol
He's still a young guy though.
But I checked out the adoption application and I really doubt they would adopt him to me anyways sadly :( I don't pass all adoption criteria right now at the new house

It's case by case Erykah. I'm not the one who goes through the applications , I just foster. You can still fill out an application ! :goodvibes:
