Garou looking for forever home (Ste-Agathe-des-Monts, QC)

Garou has been at the shelter for a little while now and has yet to find a forever home. He is about 2 years old, and is a husky / greyhound type cross.

Garou is pretty social and would like to find someone who can take him for some good walks or devote some serious playtime as he is quite active.

You can come visit Garou at the shelter 7 days a week, between 1pm - 6pm. His adoption fee includes his basic vaccines, dewormer, and he is of course sterilised. He has also gone through a behaviour evaluation.

Garou is still looking for a home. I will stop by the shelter this week to take some more pics of him.

He is a dog that really wants to please, so his obediance training should come along nicely with some time and patience. He is also walking really well on leash now - he was walking with a halti for a while and he has now got the hang of walking with someone.

He is still a little underweight, and I just made up a batch of Frenchy's Satin Balls recipe and started him on them sunday. let hope it ads a few pounds to him.

I'm sure Garou would thank you guys very much for your nice compliments - a lot of people that came to the shelter said he was ugly :sad: ...I'm sure the dogs sense it, because he started niot being himself, kind of like he was depressed...poor guy. Just really, really, really happy he found a home!

That is NOT an ugly dog at all!!! I have had those comments about some of my 'underdog' fosters. I always reply 'have you looked in the mirror lately - that's one NASTY nose you have...plan on fixing it?'. They usually shut up after that in a huff.
