What a gorgeous girl she is. :lovestruck: I'm almost afraid to ask why a three year old was given up. :o

It is my understanding that she was allowed to run free with the two other dogs in the household. It became a problem and the neighbors complained. The owner did not want to contain the dogs within a fence so he surrendered Bailey to us and gave away another of the dogs.
She is a very sweet girl but needs some basic obedience training, sit, down, stay etc..

tsk she also OBVIOUSLY needs to be taught how to behave and not run around like mad.

I am not sure what she would do if let loose but I am not taking any chances. I have let her run around our fenced backyard and when I call her she comes. The test will be this weekend when I bring her to the cottage. I think I am going to have a heck of a time keeping her quiet while my two run around. I have a 40 ft. leash and will attach a log to it so if she tries to run she will have to pull a log with her and that will slow her down long enough for me to catch her if need be.

If you were in Alberta I'd go sweet talk my man...Dazy would love a golden buddy, Pubert would pack his bags and move in to the basement suite. I never see any goldens in AB? Good luck, keep us posted!!
