Dog Pregnancey question

could anyone tell me the week that a dog starts to produce milk? we are trying figure out when our dog got pregnant thankyou

she got pregnate when she was in heat, and left out unattended.
I think you should call up your vet and find out, as well as ask about the whelping procedure, dangers and things you should look out for.
dogs having pups isnt always as easy as it sounds. She maybe should have an ultra sound as well, especially if you dont know who the father of the pups may be. He could be far larger than your female and this could cause problems ( depending what kind of dog you have, small medium or large)

Your dog shouldn't start to produce milk until after the pups are born just like in humans. You might have a small amount a week or so before hand though. It is all a cycle of hormones.
