I'm very concerned 4 my Dog

I've had this Bloodline for 15yrs and am very concerned about my dog. She is a rotwieler. she's been acting like she is pregnate? she's looking for places like shes going 2 have pups. she's eating fine, not drinking an excess amount of water. put shes fine one minute & sick the next?! she had diarea a couple of days ago. put I havent seen her go since is it a parasite? Please any advise?

Hi , we are not vets, and can't diagnose what's wrong with your dog over the internet. You should take her to your vet asap. It could be lots of things.

I think she needs to see a vet, especially since she is an old doggy. Parasites go through cycles so if she is OK for a few days and then not OK, it could be a parasite. When you go to the vet, take along a sample of her poo so they can examine it. Doesn't matter what it looks like, just the freshest one you can scoop up.

If your dog's not spayed, she could be suffering from a false pregnancy. They'll exhibit all the same behaviours and symptoms as if they were actually pregnant (minus the pups of course); dogs will sometimes have diarhea/vomiting before giving birth and lose their appetite. Dogs that feel sick for any number of reasons can also be very restless...but impossible to say without a vet visit...you should get her to the vet right away...
