HI All,

I have a 10 year old shep/lab who is showing signs of slowing down.
His dog bed this morning was wet, and he is dribbling quite a bit. Is this common in older dogs, we are planning to take him to the Vet tomorrow morning. He seems to be acting very strange, hiding under my desk, doesn't want to play, just wants to stay in bed.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
THanks so much

He could have a urinary infection or blocage, causing him to lose control of his bladder. Poor thing, he's probably a bit embarassed. Hiding is typical of an animal who isn't feeling well. I'd keep a close eye on him. Is he eating and drinking OK?
I hope your appointment is an early one, because I think this is definitely one for the vet.

I agree with badger. Sounds like your dog isn't feeling up to snuff. Poor dear. Could be a lot of things. The vet will be able to tell for sure--and with luck, prescribe some medication to get your boy back to his old self :fingerscr
