cat acting wierd

my cat is usually quiet and likes 2 sleep alot but the past few days hes been jumpy and trying 2 chase things that arent there and he also gets scared easily and just 5 minutes ago i seen his right eye watering im not sure what i should do any suggestions?

He might have an eye infection and have trouble seeing because of it. It's common for animals to get jumpy or act odd when they suddenly go blind or have other eye problems. Naturally he needs to be on guard to protect himself, and if his vision is compromised, he might be on edge.

I suggest taking him to a vet.
