rabies shotjaninezuniga February 28th, 2004, 11:41 PM is it possible for a rabies shot to be good for 3 years?????????::confused: LavenderRott February 28th, 2004, 11:46 PM Yes. After the first puppy shots, most vets use the three year shot. There is a lot of literature now that says that most shots are not needed yearly. Many of the dog people I know, have titers taken yearly to see what vaccines, if any, their dogs need. It is my understanding that some diseases do not really need to be vaccinated for after the first set of puppy shots. (Don't quote me on that one though, because I may have mis-understood.) Carina February 29th, 2004, 06:17 AM Sandi's right...and many states in the US require a rabies shot only every three years because of this. Do you live in Medicine Hat, Utah? janinezuniga March 2nd, 2004, 04:30 PM Thank you for the information. it was really helpful. And i am from canada Medicine hat alberta. Thanks again for the info |
