My name is Muffy. I'm a gorgeous, friendly, 1 year old Husky. I've been waiting for a family since October 7th. I'm not doing very good anymore as I am boarded and the kennel life doesn't suit me well. I miss having a home and going for long walks in the woods with someone I love. Please consider welcoming me into your home. You won't regret it ! :pawprint:

I have contacted Sashas Den Rescue twice but am not getting a response. Very frustrating as I am trying to help.

Astrid, please don't give up,Sasha has lots of dogs to take care of and not a lot of volunteers.

Astrid, the only message I ever got from you I received on the 26th and replied straight away including our adoption application. If you have not received it, I will send it again. Sorry for getting you that frustrated. :o

Hi and thanks. I have not received your message for some reason. I'll re-send mine and include my husband's e-mail address so you can reply to both of us. I sent my first message about a week before the second one. Obviously there is a problem but I'm glad we've connected. I look forward to hearing more about Muffy. Thanks again.

We've connected! The re-sent e-mail was there when I logged on today. I have already filled in the adoption form and will send it later after my husband has had a chance for input. Unfortunately we are not able to do anything for Muffy right now. We are temporarily living in Sweden and will be moving to Montreal in May and into our new house in June. If Muffy has not found a permanent home by then, we would love to meet him and see if there is a fit with our Siberian Husky Jukki. As much as we'd like that, we are really hoping that Muffy will get lucky and find a loving family much sooner than that. He's been waiting long enough.

Had to post an update on this thread... :)

After 213 days of waiting and hoping, Muffy finally found his forever home. Although Astrid had been hoping to meet Muffy for a long time, we are very grateful to her for unselfishly allowing us to organize a meeting between Muffy and another potential adopter days before her arrival from Sweden. The meeting went so well it ended up with an adoption ! And according to the last e-mails that were exchanged between all parties involved, I believe a meeting will soon take place between Muffy, his new parents, Astrid, her husband and their dog Jukki !

Happy news ! :thumbs up

I haven't been on the site for some time because the move has kept us busy. It was wonderful to be welcomed back with the update on Muffy (now known as Alfie). I am delighted to report that we met him and his new owners yesterday at a wonderful dog park close to our temporary residence. Alfie and Jukki got along famously and played hard for 2 hours (together with a third husky). We were looking forward to meeting him to assure ourselves that we had made the right decision. He is happy, full of energy and with people who will make him soon forget about his long wait to get adopted. Astrid

PS to Chico2: Although my name is Swedish, I'm not and it is good to be home in Canada - a "usually" much friendlier place than the country we just left behind........but I'm sure YOU are very nice. We did know a few other nice Swedes. :)

That's great news for Alfie, thank's for letting us know:thumbs up
As for Swedes,we are no different than other people, there is good and bad in every country,I was of course joking:D
How you see people depends very much on your own attitude.
