Hi, this little gal is only 55lbs. She's very sweet and looking for a foster home or new home asap. She is utd on vaccinations and spayed. If you can help her please contact me. Thanks.

Has no time for the dog... not fair to the dog to leave her alone for so long... dog is presently still in original home..

Is she housetrained? Do you know if she's okay with cats?

No guarantees, but I have someone in Ottawa looking for a nice Lab mix type dog.

There are 3 cats in the home and one 12 year old child and the dog would be alone about 5 hours a day.

Yes, she's housetrained. I'll inquire about cats.. it's through a private rescuer whom she contacted.

BMDluver...I mean to say that with the 3 cats the puppy will not exactly be alone. My dog, Winnie usually ends up playing with the cats during the day when he is left alone...They are usually found on his bed at the end of the day:D

LR, I spoke to the interim person and they believe the owner does have a cat or two. I will try to reach her again as no answer and it went to machine. I will advise her that you may be contacting her and will pm you the number once I have spoken to her. I'm hoping this works out for the dog's sake. Thanks a bunch.

Okay, pass me the number of who to call and I'll give it directly to this lady in Ottawa. I have NOT screened her, so whoever is handling this dog's adoption can do so.

Well, spent a good hour with the owner this evening and we've gone over multiple issues and direction for correction and working together so she might just keep the dog after all. There were some health issues as well which can be addressed with proper diet. So, for now... she's in a holding pattern and I'm available for continued assistance. :fingerscr
