As you know by now, July 1st is the worst day of the year for dogs being abandoned in Montreal.
We are not expecting this one to be any different.
We are asking today for your help in the following volunteer positions so that R A A can have a plan ready for next week
Fostering- Are you or someone you know able to foster a dog short or long term? Possibly a night or maybe a week?
If so we would need to know your schedule and preferences now.
ex. Can you handle a pup or just a full grown dog? Are you leaving for a vacation shortly?
Drivers wanted- Can you pick up an abandoned dog and bring it to its new foster home?
Are you able to go to a vet appointment for someone?
Again, please advise schedule on this.
Adoption Clinics - Saturday July 5th 11 - 2 July 19th 11- 2.
We need to prepare in advance for the next two months so we do not have to scramble for our poor summer orphans.
If you cannot help, don't fret. You all give 100% all year round and we can't ask for a better group of devoted volunteers!!
If you are going on a vacation , have a great time!!
The Rosie line will be on and you should all have at least one of our phone numbers at home.
Please advise via email ASAP. The phones are already ringing .........
