We got Jake when he was only 7 weeks old and for almost 8 years he was much more than just a dog. He was our friend & companion, a guard for the kids & the house, a good listener at time of sorrow and a bundle of joy to play with. He jumped on our bed in the morning and layed between us, head on our pillow. He lived for his walks at the field or in the woods. After a long & horrible battle with stomach cancer, we said goodbye to our Jake as he laid in our arms (with you till the end!) and spread his ashes in his beloved woods. It will be a year soon & still, everyday, we think of you & miss you! See you later...for more long walks together!
