Moonie,
You've only been gone a few hours. I just want you to know that I loved you so very much. For almost eight years, you have always been there for me. You have been there to share in my joy, you were there to comfort me in my sorrows, and you were here when I felt lonely or scared. When you were only one and the vet diagnosed you with a heart condition, I treasured every moment that I was able to spend with you. You were a gift to me from God, and I'm so thankful you chose me as your parent. I hope that you rest in peace, Moonie. I'll always love you, and I will always miss you. Thank you for always loving me, unconditionally.
