JJ was the sweetest little kitten with his cute fluffy coat. I adopted JJ at 3 months old and he was diagnosed with upper respiratory illness and when he recovered something else would crop up. JJ's eye got infected and had to be removed, and he was being treated for irritable bowel syndrome when he got FIP and at 9 months old had to be euthanized. My heart was broken just caring for JJ and hoping we could cure him of these disgusting illnesses that keep attacking JJ. Apparently JJ had autoimmune syndrome and his immune system couldn't fight off disease and the Research to help cats with these diseases are behind in the times or lack interest. Veterinarians for the most part just want to push medications instead of being preventive.
A large piece of my heart was broken when I lost one of my sweetest companions. I miss him so much.
