Pain aggression in dogs – Pet tip 257
Unfortunately the following two scenarios occur from time to time: You’re innocently petting your cat or dog when all of a sudden your pet bites you. The same reaction can happen when you pick up your cat or dog the way you always do, when all of a sudden it bites you. What is going on here? Your pet NEVER bites you, and now that you are trying to show it some love, it bites you. Has your pet gone mad? What might be going on here is pain induced aggression.
It seems so obvious after you bring your pet to a veterinarian to figure out what is going on, but it may be as simple as pain induced aggression. Pain induced aggression means that your pet has exhibited an aggressive behaviour because it is in pain. This is especially common in older pets that may be suffering from arthritis or perhaps one of their internal organs is bruised or diseased.

im sorry i dont have a picture of my beautiful little kitten to include in my tribute i dont know how or why but in 3 short weeks this beautiful kitten whose name i gave her was really long but was known as midnight for short managed to work her way into my heart and i will miss her so much she brought joy to the lives of me and everyone she touched she was so tiny when i first got her i had found her at a flea market from a vendor someone else had dumped her but she was purring from the time she entered my arms until the time she died and everyone in my house loved her dearly i weep now as i write this because she meant so much to me she died when my one dog went after her the dog didnt bite her but hit her hard enough that her little neck snapped like a twig for the last few minutes of life she was twisting and contorting and riving in pain we laid her in a box and then gave her a proper burial but i am finding it so hard to let go so goodbye midnight may we be reunited someday until then i will miss you
