What is a Dog Whisperer – Pet tip 215
These days you hear a lot about the term ‘dog whisperer’ and most people associate the term with one particular dog trainer, Cesar Milan. Many people think that he created the term when in fact this is false. The term dog whisperer is actually a term borrowed from horse training, where certain trainers or horse whisperers seemed to be able to get horses to calm down and accept training or accept a rider on their backs. Their methods were often ‘quiet’ (as opposed to more traditional punitive techniques) to an observer as these trainers seemed to get results from quiet whispers. These days though, the term has been diluted and many people use the term loosely.

My name is "SPUD". I know, I know the potato thing. I live with my Mommy and Daddy and my friend Peaches (Bichon Frise) and 2 cats (Ugh)and fish & turtles. I like to go for truckie rides with my parents especially to visit my Aunty & Uncle. They have chickens and I help put them back in their coup but as you see from the picture I was so embarrassed when "Hop Along" startled me "THE BOSS" when she pecked my butt. On my more relaxed days I play with my toys and hide them in the back yard, I sleep on Mommy & Daddy's bed and take as much room as I can get. Peaches sleeps there too and I push her out of the way. I am spoiled and love it. Thanks Mom & Dad
