To Max
(aka: the furry slug, romper stomper, mr. maxwell, maximilian, maxi-taxi, the taxadermist, baba, my sweet, my little guy, maxwellian of the north, sweet pea, maxwell p. carlson...)
Thank you for being part of my life. I was so fortunate to have you - you were always there for me & you gave me strength during my tough times. We had such a strong bond - I always felt like we knew exactly how each other was feeling. I will forever miss your adorable personality (how purred & kneaded your beloved furry blankets, how you nuzzled into the crook of my elbow when I held you, how you'd sit on top of my head when you were a kitten & I was on the computer, how you always begged for food, how you would roll onto your back & stretch-out, whenever you slept in your wrought-iron bed, how you loved to be outdoors, &, the one & only time you willingly jumped into the cute feather-trimmed carrier I got for you - on your own!).You were my closest companion over the past 10.5 years & you will be forever missed!
You were the best gift I ever received, little romper stomper!
With love, always! Blessings, beautiful one!
