Our boy Zeke was a pitbull rescue. It was love at first site. I worked at an animal ER and knew he was the dog for me and my family the second I saw him. He came to the clinic at 5 months of age. His abdominal and inguinal areas were all tore up and his pads were torn off. The first time I had to change the bandages I knew he was going to be the best dog ever. At the time I had been in the vet field for over 10 years and had never had a dog lay so still and not be held while changing bandages. My boy never left my side and went with me every where. He was the best guard dog too. Being a pitbull as soon as he barked people were scared yet, he would never hurt a fly. The kids would ride him, poke him and dress him up. He never even thought to bit or bark at them. He loved any thing as long as he was with his family. He was never leased because he would never leave our sides. Our boy Zeke loved chewing apart his toys, laying on my lap, sleeping with the kids, playing with Daddy and visiting his Nana. He was loved by everyone that knew him. He was my world and will always cherish the 7 short but wonderful years I had with him.
Mommy loves you Zekey,you will be alive in my heart forever.
