While living in Colorado Springs, I was looking for a new pet. I went to the human society page and found a section for senior citizens. If you were low income and a senior citizen, they would pay half your adoption fee and give you a $400 allowance to support the dog each year.
I went down and applied. They showed me several dogs that were on the program. I met Fritz and fell in love. He is the best dog. He was already house broken; crate trained, and loves to sleep with me in the bed. He absolutely loves everyone, especially children. My one year old grandson pulls and loves on him all the time.
