Sable, the most wonderful German Shepherd anyone could have wished to come into their lives. We were fortunate enough to have her touch all our lives.
I am empty and lost without her. I keep looking for her and she is not there. I want to give her a big hug and smell her again..to stroke her head and tell her how much I love her and how much I miss her. She was always by my side, my best friend that knew the true meaning of undivided love!
I found this poem and thought of her.

If tears could build a stairway
and heartache make a lane,
I'd walk the path to heaven
and bring you back again.

Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again
