Lily had not reached her 8th birthday when she died of gastric cancer. We had lost our black lab, Summer, just 5 weeks earlier. She stayed on long enough to help us get through that loss.
We miss them both. Summer lived a long life of almost 13 years, but Lily was only given a short time on earth.
