He was my first dogs son. my first dog was named Scooby. I still have his father. He's 2 years I believe. My brother female dog had him with Scooby. My brother gave copper to me and he had the same color coat as Scooby. He got sick and I hoped he would get over his sickness and at first he did but, he got sick agian and he starting getting worse. He could'nt drink, eat and he could barly walk. He was suffering and I could not help but, cry he was so bad.I could'nt stand it anymore! So to relieve his suffering, I took him him to the pound to be put him to sleep. He wasn't an old dog, he was just a puppy! I don't know when he was born but, I know it was on those very cold days. I got him in the Spring. He was a very cute and loving puppy. I remember He used followed me everywhere and cried when he could'nt! He always wanted to sleep with me but, couldn't jump up on my bed like his father could. So I always picked him up. He dashed over to the side of my pellow and licked me a couple of times and snuggled up next to me. He also loved his father. He stayed outside when I went to school and played with his daddy. Scooby always let him eat first and they drank from the same bowl and he protected him from strangers. Scooby really misses him too! He won't touch Coppers squeker toys but, he'll grab it and just lay his head down on it and look me in the eyes and wag his tail, saying "where's my son? Where did he go?" I really miss that little guy. He died so young. He always loved me and followed me. He would wimper when I had to live the room when he was sick. The day he was to be put down. I stayed with him. When the guy came around with the shot. He kinda shook. I petted him to let him know he was gonna be alright. He stopped shacking and looked up at me. Licked my hand and cuddled close. He was drooling heavily and the guy sayed that he had porvo. When he put the shot in Copper he did not even wimper. He just layed there with me. I picked him up and hugged him and sayed "goodbye". He had a confused look on his face but, he kept lick my hands. After a while he stopped breathing..... I knew he was dead. That was probably the hardest thing I ever did. I loved both of my dogs equely and still do. Copper I really miss and still cry for you.
