Blackie was a wonderful dog. So prude and well-mannered but let her bark out when intruders were present. Although she was daddy's girl, she showed unconditional love towards myself, and the rest of my family. Blackie always loved to run up to you the second you got home and bury her head in your chest, making her feel warm and safe. I miss her so much already but realize she is happy. Before she died at 6:30 am, Sunday October 21, 2007, she looked at my dad, took a deep breath and whimpered right before she passed showing how much she wanted to hang on and not leave us after a long night in the garage with my dad under blankets. Mostly bones and pain she needed to move on into a place of glory, but I will forever remember her cute personality and love.
