My mum owns Kitzspa Cattery, we sell Burmese kittens. Our first breeding female was Cinders I had a special bond with her. I was her favorite she was mine. She has had many kittens, She has had seven litters, most of all she was my big sweet heart.
We were taking her into be spayed, we took her to our vet. I was home alone, the vet called and said she passed away, a very hard thing on a 14yr old girl. She had a disease called HMR, which is a thickening in the hearts walls (can weigh 7-8 pounds in a sever case, usually only starts when the cat is between 3-5yrs). After surgery she was placed in a kennel, and soon after a vet noticed she had stopped breathing, they put her on oxygen but she had a heart attack.
In one day my baby, sweetheart, and angel was swept away from me. Please cherish your pets and remember to always do what you believe is the right thing to do no matter how hard.
Signed,
a heartstruck teenager
